Holiday times are exciting for all children, and children with disabilities are no different. For children with disabilities; holidays are an intense time of stress and distress and have to deal with significant behavior changes.

CoPilot Cares acknowledges the needs of those in need and makes an effort to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter.

Mr. Kazmi CEO of CareMed Pharmaceutical paid a special visit to St. Mary’s Kids recently to distribute holiday gifts and spread some cheer. Mr. Kazmi was joined by his family, and together they gave out an array of holiday gifts, including toys, games and iTunes gift cards to the excited children.

Each young patient had an opportunity to create their own wish list, from which Mr. Kazmi selected items. To the delight of the children he spent ample time interacting with them, making each child feel special by bringing them an early holiday treat before Christmas day.

Mr. Kazmi was clearly moved by the children of St. Mary’s, as this marks his second annual visit to the facility. “St. Mary’s Kids are truly remarkable, and my family and I look forward to visiting these children to share some joy and brighten their holiday,” said Mr. Kamzi. “The entire CareMed Pharmaceutical team believes strongly in doing what we can to support children with special needs, and we intend to make this holiday visit a lasting CareMed tradition.”

Child with special needs can be an unnerving task, but it can also be a meaningful journey. Copilot Cares help and support children with disabilities to uncover reserves of strength, wisdom and love, they never knew they had.

The children and staff of St. Mary’s are already looking forward to the next end-of-year visit.
